Reunion is a resort community southwest of Walt Disney World rather than a conventional walkable neighborhood. Its golf courses, water park, pools, restaurants, and vacation homes make it possible to spend your final Orlando hours without leaving the property—provided your reservation includes access to those amenities.

That qualification matters. Many Reunion homes are managed by different rental companies, and not every booking automatically includes resort privileges. Confirm your access before checkout rather than arriving at a pool or golf facility and discovering that your reservation is ineligible.

Bagzee’s Orlando airport service is still listed as coming soon. Once active, it is intended to support luggage pickup from resorts and vacation rentals before MCO departures. Check the latest operating status for Reunion before making it part of your plan.

Choose Water or Golf—not Both

Reunion’s five-acre water park includes a zero-entry pool, a 1,000-foot lazy river, a waterslide, a splash area, games, food service, and rentable cabanas. Access is generally available to members and qualifying guests who booked through Reunion or approved rental partners.

This is the easiest option for families with a late flight. Ask whether water-park privileges remain active after checkout and where you can change before leaving.

Golfers can choose among three signature courses associated with Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, and Jack Nicklaus. A full round requires a generous schedule, so a practice session or shorter golf experience is safer before an afternoon departure.

Use the Resort Shuttle

Reunion provides complimentary on-property transportation for eligible guests through its Ride Reunion system. The service connects villas and resort amenities, reducing the need to move your vehicle repeatedly before departure.

Confirm pickup estimates and avoid depending on a last-minute shuttle when your airport drive is about to begin. Resort roads and gated entrances can add more time than expected.

Turn Lunch Into the Final Experience

Dining options range from poolside food and casual clubhouse meals to sushi, steak, and rooftop drinks. The resort’s various restaurants maintain their own schedules, so check which locations are open for breakfast or lunch on your departure day.

A long meal may be a better choice than attempting another attraction off property. It keeps your group together, limits driving, and provides a comfortable place to review flight information.

Leave the Resort Before It Feels Urgent

With three hours, have breakfast, use one pool, or enjoy a casual meal. With five or six hours, add the water park, a spa appointment, or a limited golf activity.

Reunion is a significant drive from MCO, particularly when Interstate 4 is congested. Protect time for traffic, rental-car return, luggage, and security.

Let the final view come from the resort itself—perhaps from a quiet fairway or an upper-floor restaurant as distant theme-park fireworks fade into the daytime sky. Reunion already contains enough Orlando to provide its own conclusion.
